Welcome to MotorcycleXS! I’m Bruce, a motorcycle rider and accessories reviewer dedicated to helping riders make informed decisions about motorcycle gear and equipment. With years of riding and testing under my belt, I offer a unique perspective that blends a genuine passion for motorcycles with a commitment to supplying accurate, valuable information.
Over the past 26 years, I’ve had the privilege of riding in diverse conditions, including dry weather, rain, extreme heat, sub-freezing temperatures, high winds, and snow. I’ve met fellow riders at numerous rallies and ridden countless motorcycles, ranging from touring and sport bikes to off-road machines, including both domestic and foreign makes. Those experiences form the foundation of the knowledge I bring to the motorcycle accessories and topics I cover here.
MotorcycleXS stands as more than just a platform. I started MotorcycleXS in 2022 as a place to document and share my experiences. Since then, it has grown into a resource for riders seeking to enhance their biking experience with reliable, carefully researched products and information.
How I Evaluate Motorcycle Accessories
I don’t evaluate motorcycle accessories based solely on specifications or marketing claims. Where possible, I consider how an accessory performs in real-world riding, including comfort, usability, durability, weather conditions, and whether it actually makes riding better or safer. When firsthand testing isn’t possible, I research manufacturer specifications, technical information, independent testing, and rider experiences to provide as complete a picture as possible. With each review and discussion, I strive to maintain an open and candid tone, ensuring you receive information that is both transparent and trustworthy.
My goal isn’t to tell every rider which product to buy, but to explain the strengths, limitations, and intended use of each product so riders can decide what best fits their own needs.
